SPECIALIST motor insurer ERS is pleased to announce that Gemma Moore has started in the new role of Head of Claims Standards.
Gemma joins ERS from the Hood Group where she held various roles, including Head of Strategic Implementation and Head of Quality Assurance, since 2007. Prior to this she worked at Highway Insurance for three years.
Reporting directly to Claims Director Peter Smith, Gemma will be responsible for governance across ERS Claims and overseeing its quality assurance in accordance with regulatory and best practice requirements.
Gemma will work in conjunction with teams across the business to drive optimal standards within the Claims Division.
Peter Smith said: “I am delighted to welcome Gemma to the team at such an important point in ERS’ journey. As we strive towards a 90% COR, the effectiveness of our governance and adherence to suitably robust process and standards is critical. Gemma brings a wealth of expertise and drive which will enhance and further embed these across all parts of the Claims function.”
