ERS, the largest specialist motor insurance syndicate in Lloyd’s of London, has announced the launch of a new agriculture operations team, following a 24% increase in demand for its agriculture policies in the last six months.
Based at ERS’ offices in Swansea, and complementing specialist underwriters in London, the unit will focus entirely on agriculture business and deliver fast, expert advice on new business, renewals, MTAs and claims. The launch creates a 27-strong team of agricultural specialists; enabling ERS to respond to broker needs more quickly and effectively and follows feedback from brokers wanting easy access to its agricultural operations.
Following a pilot phase, ERS’ quote response time has improved by over 30%. A dedicated agriculture hotline also means that broker calls are answered within an average of two seconds, by experts who speak their language.
