We are very pleased to announce some new appointments this month.
Retail
Gemma Moore has been appointed as head of retail underwriting. Gemma was previously our head of claims standards where she was responsible for overseeing quality assurance across our claims function.
In her new role Gemma will lead our private car, van and motorcycle products. She brings an extensive range of skills to the position and her immediate focus will be on reviewing and refreshing our propositions, using her experience and knowledge from outside of underwriting as key inputs.
Agriculture
We are pleased to announce the appointment of two regional underwriters within our Agriculture division. Matthew Evans joins as regional trading underwriter for Wales and the South West and Graeme Cloughley as regional trading underwriter for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Matthew joins from NIG where he managed a multimillion pound motor account for its agricultural division, Farm Web and Graeme from Arnold Clark where he was instrumental in the set-up of its commercial business.
The appointments are further evidence of ERS's commitment to providing access to local underwriting capability across rural and agricultural motor.
Business Development
Marjorie Adejumo has also joined our account management team as strategic account manager. Marjorie has 15 years' experience in the insurance industry which began in credit and political risk underwriting before moving on to key account management. Prior to joining ERS she was responsible for account performance across commercial Property, Casualty, and Motor business at Aviva as well as for specialty and personal lines including private clients.
