Thousands of our brokers are using ERS eTrade, our online trading platform, to get Commercial quotes and bind them in minutes and, over the last 18 months, we’ve launched new products to eTrade to help brokers get the right price for their risk.
The success of the platform has driven us to invest in new features and today we’re pleased to announce the launch of mid-term adjustments and renewals on eTrade – so brokers can complete every task they need online, without the need to call our Operations centre.
ERS eTrade is the quickest, easiest and most efficient way for Commercial brokers to adjust and renew policies, and as eTrade auto-rates most MTAs and renewals, you won’t have to keep policyholders waiting before they know the price of an adjustment. We also send all documentation immediately, so there’s no lapse in cover.
Not only have we added new features in this release, we’ve also added Motor Breakdown to eTrade too and made it available to all brokers, so you can add breakdown to your customer’s motor policy too.
Here’s a run-down of products that are now open to all brokers on eTrade:
Transportation – pricing and policy details for haulage and transportation vehicles of up to 44 tonnes, across both hire & reward and traditional haulage risks
Courier – comprehensive policies for couriers with up to five vehicles that operate on a time critical, pay-per-drop basis
Minibus – dedicated products for conventional taxis as well as for the carriage of non-fare paying passengers such as employees, membership organisations, youth groups or volunteers
Specialist Commercial Vehicles– seven different categories rolled into one product to cover every type of commercially modified vehicle
Horsebox– bespoke horsebox cover for horsing enthusiasts and professional sportspeople
MBI – specialist breakdown cover for specialist vehicles
To use the new features, your team will need access to eTrade. If you already use eTrade and have a separate MTA or renewal team, your Branch Administrator can sign them up.
